Central locking

Hey guys.

Gotta problem with my central locking and wondering if any of you guys have had a similar problem!

Basically, when ever i unlock my car, the central locking motor can be heard kicking in, but then doesn't switch back off automatically anymore! As soon as you lock the car again though, you can hear the motor changing back and locking the doors and then it shuts off!

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Mine did that, but only because it got a bit of water damage which i cleaned up and it worked fine just didn't stop when it was supposed to, just carried on running for a while. I finally got a another central locking motor from a mate connected it up and it works fine now. Don't know if that helps
