I got mine from vagparts.com with the fittings too. £98.78!!

I know you can get em on ebay cheaper but I kept missing out on them whenever they appeared lol

Sorry mate I cant answer your question on the legalilty of ones from ebay.de. I would have thought they would be ok as they would be of the same part and use the same rate bulbs etc but I dont know

yeah i guess if they are the same part number as the numbers you have given me (which they are) then there is no reason why they would be any different.

any way i am sure some one will come clear this up soon.

cheers.

Yeah I cant see there would be a problem

I take it you will be putting the gti grilles with the fogs too?

I havent done this yet. I fitted mine with standard SE (diamond shape) grilles for the time being.

Fogs set it off quite nicely though

Your probably aware you will also need to replace the switch inside also?

Cheers

Yeah 40 quid on a switch I thought was a bit steep also but I got mine from vag parts in the end. Got a bit impatient waiting for one to appear on eBay lol

I am tempted to get the set of gti grilles for the front of mine but at the moment I am not too fussed.

Its the alloys and spoiler I want to get sorted first!
