I thought you all would like to see this. Just so you could all see what you can get out of your car with an ECU upgrade. Figures are interesting...

Engine: 1.0
Power: 37/50 (kw/bhp)
Increase: 7 / 10 (kw/bhp)
Torque: 11

Engine: 1.4
Power: 44/60 (kw/bhp)
Increase: 8 / 11 (kw/bhp)
Torque: 12

Engine: 1.4 16v
Power: 55/75 (kw/bhp)
Increase: 8 / 11 (kw/bhp)

Engine: 1.6 16v

the power systems that josh sells give 1hp more on my engine that stated above
ps at those gains id guess that they are piggy back style (like the power system) i recoment these as they are cheeper than a complete ecu and easy to fit + they can be removed for guarente work and are undetectable to vw (so i hear) both josh and i use these on daily driven cars and love them

You mean the Nowack ones?

Don't think so, to be honest - I guess most guys prefer local tuners if they're chipping their cars.

Is that old 1.0 or new?

I'm assuming the figures they're stating are the "starting" hp and then what you can get on top. Pretty good if those are accurate numbers. But... what's the mpg like? :D
