Arghh i hate my angel eyes!!

Ok, i have had clear angel eyes for well over a year now and there is one thing i really hate about them....

The angel eye rings are made up of several small bulbs which fuse nearly all the time. The bulbs can be expensive and are a nightmare to fit.

I got them off fleebay and although they came wrapped as FK angel eyes im concerned. I thought the angel eye was a whole ring and not made up of small bulbs. Im beginning to think maybe someone sold me a fake set of FK angel eyes?

Does anyone else here have the same angel eyes as me in crystal clear so they can check if the ring is made of lots of little bulbs. I think im going to have to get in touch with FK if they turn out to be legit.

Or i night just sell them and get some black ones, going to get car checked as it may be a fault with the connection to the lights. Just trying to find out fault, very annoying!

i had black fk's. they were m,ade up of small ledsaswell.

if you ask Maxz on here he had bulbs that lasted longer.

I'm not sure I had the right LEDs, as mine were for the rear lights. The ones for the actual angel eyes you can buy from ledsdirect, replace the tacky yellows with blue ones

i used to have the black angel eyes bought on egay so dnt know if they were def fk but bought them and sold them as fk

they were made up of small leds although they never blew on me

Max can you point me in the right direction for the bulbs you bought?

Prefer a link if possible please? And how many bulbs make up a single angel eye ring?

yeh i have had crystal and black and never really had a prob....i'm changingin them for some in pro units, my black angels are forsale

i've bought some wedge shaped ones to replace my blown yellowy ones!
i think they were something like 11 quid for 10, and they are the ice white ones, just hope they last.
totally peed off with the standard crappy fk ones!!

also they are a pain to fit i've heard :s
