got a set of tt comps last week and 2 of them are already polished, the other 2 look like they are jus painted, any advice on how to polish them up properly? got a machine polisher and a week off work so plenty of time to spare.

first thing is to remove the paint - nitromors or something like that will eat it away. don't go too overboard though!
you could just sand it down with 200 grit.
then it's just a case of sanding it down with progressively finer paper. wet and dry up to 1500 and from then on you need a high speed metal polish compound and drill / polisher!
easy to do, but it will take a LONG time yourself.
