Wales!!
Wales!!
Calling all welsh Polo-ers. I'm going on holiday to Wales for a couple of days at the beginning of August, I'm trying to find out the nicest place to stay with lots of things to see/do nearby. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks

In all honesty I've not stayed many places in Wales as most of my visits have been day trips! We're only a few miles from the border here in Shropshire. Last place I stayed was Trawsfynydd in April this year, had a few days in a cottage with some friends. Great weather, very scenic but not a great deal to do, but its how we wanted it. Beach at Porthmadog is nearby and we went wandering around the lake and Nuclear power station at Trawsfynydd too.
If you've got the car with you though, there is plenty of stuff to do and see within a few miles of wherever you're staying! Some good roads too...

wahey!! right, umm... on the coast you've got st. davids, really small, but with some good weather and if your into beaches its pretty cool, very touristy. Cardiffs ace, i live bout 25 mins from it. The bays really really nice, the centres very good for shopping, night lifes good, cinemas, clubs, live music, all in walking distance! and swansea, its a bit of a mix of the two really...
