im keeping my beast garaged for the rough weather right now, im not planning any more mods if i can help it,
iv invested in some g10 and finesse-it along with some 2000 grit paper, im gonna remove some marks and fine scratches and polish the car up to perfection
its all minty clean waxed and polished up inside outside underneath and engine at the min, but theres always more
the only actual parts im really after is the cubby box with lid from vag parts and blue tinted mirror glasses, oh and to sort a tiny rattle on the dash, which i know what it is, so thats half the problem sorted already

Jeff what is the paint work on yer polo like? Do you rate it? I seem to get very bad chips on my paint work with any little chip that hits it! I know its gonna leave a mark but it always seems to take all big my paint off in a big flake and am left with a load of with white marks all over my car!!! Had to go ask the local bodyshop to make up some touch up paint for me!

Its not as if I do loads of motorway miles in bad weather either. Any little stone chip seems to take off a load of paint right down to the primer. Was told by a guy on detailing world that the Vw paint was meant to be super hard wearing but mine certainly aint.

probably not now mate haha just keep an eye on it,
heres a trick for ya which may work better than painting it,
get yourself a red wax crayon and colour over the chips, it will bring it back to the surface and look less obvious than white primer or red paint splodges everywhere, then just buff off any excess you put on too much
i do this with a black one i got from halfords with some coloured polish/wax by turtle wax
granted the polish aint the worlds best, but do the crayon then use that polish over it and you will be suprised how good it looks and only costs about a 5er for a bottle which will out last you keeping the car ill bet too
i do mine once a week and it keeps it tip top lovely
