Removal of the polo badge from rear

Hi All,

Could i have some advice please.

I have a polo 1.2 E 03 plate in black and i want to remove the polo badge from the rear boot, is this as simple as removing it, i wont leave any holes will it??? I had a saxo before and the saxo badge was bolted into the boot lid.

advice would be a great help

its just stuck on but is in a recess so if your planning on removing it for a smooth boot it wont work, will need to be filled

If your talking about the POLO letters - they're just stuck on (no holes).

yeah just the polo letters, will it not make it smooth, if i just take it off?

im not talking about the VW badge in the center, just the POLO letter on the left

What u will need to do to get it off is, heat the letters with a hair dryer to make the glue soft and then simply with a credit card or plastic cards just peel it away.
You maybe left with a few glue marks, use a bit of polish to remove it.
