Boot vibrations!!

Post by s-l-i-x »

Hiii! I have a 500W sub in the boot and you can hear the boot rattling when you have the sub loud... is there a way where I can make the boot not vibrate? Without having to turn the bass or music down  lol. Would sound proofing work :?:

Sound proofing will definately make a big improvement as anyone that's heard mine will testify (my sub is being fed 1500w RMS)

Something like this pack here should be enough for the boot http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/second- ... -4852.html

Dynamat it man, it's pricey but worth it in my opinion, my mate had copious amounts of his Peugeot 206 dynamatted and now it doesnt rattle nowhere near as much as the little frenchy used to.

Second Skin is actually rated higher than Dynamat.

lift up the carpet and spray foam in it. fill it all in. take off the back panels and side pannels, spray foam in um. when it dries it expands, stoping anything from vibrating.

go out and buy sticky padds to place behind your reg plate aswell ;)

It's worth a go I suppose for that money, if it doesn't work then you haven't lost much.
