16" GTI Wheels...any ideas?

Post by charlievwp »

Hey all,
I'm new to the site and was hoping to get some advice on where to get hold of some GTI wheels - 16" and new/as new??
'Modified Madness' kindly photoshopped my car for me and put some on....and now there's no stopping me!!
Must have some!!
Thanks all, Charlie

either the dealers for the gti alloys or get some from vag parts as they are the same genuine ronal gti alloys but just cheaper in cost

Thanks for the info Jeff. Don't suppose you have a link for the wheels on vagparts do you, as I can't find them on the site...
Thanks again, Charlie :D

Your photoshopped picture has diamond cut 16's on 'a la' Golf GTI wheels. The normal Polo GTI wheels are not like that, same shape but not diamond cut.

MateyGuv was selling a set of original GTI 16s about a month ago. You can still find the advert in the For Sale forum.

17's on the Golf are normal. The 18's have the diamond cut which look sweet.

I thought the Polo GTI were up to 16" and any larger were Golf's?
Looking to buy 16" Polo Gti's - don't think I want any bigger than that anyway (my 'MK2 Golf GTI G60' driving boyfriend is trying to convince me otherwise though!!)
I like the style of these wheels and have heard I can get them diamond cut too.
Thanks for all your feedback people.

Mmmm, looks fab!! Sooo jealous.
VW charge £257.81 per wheel for GTI 16's
Still keeping my eyes open as a couple of queries I have made have not come back to me.
