How to remove tank cover Polo 6n?

Hi,

I am cleaning rust from my girlfriend's Polo 6n 1996 and I need to remove the tank cover for the colour matching at the paint shop.

How do I remove it? I can see a metal pin but I cannot seem to get it out.

Can you please help me ASAP?

why dont ou just bring them the paint code
or the whole car

Giving them the paintcode isn't always good enough, that I know of there are about 3 different shades of Reflex Silver and I think 5 of Satin Silver.
