HELP PLs! Will 6n2 diesel lowering springs fit the petrol?

Polo Gods, help! As above really, does anyone know if the diesel lowering springs for the 6n2 will fit the petrol models?

Am I correct to think that the size and shape are the same, its just that the spring rates are different being the diesel lump is a bit heavier.

Does that mean fitting them onto the petrol models will give you a harder ride?

Any advise is greatly aprreciated, many thanks!

Harder ride and it wont drop. You wont have the weight of the diesel engine on the springs so it'll more than likely sit as high as your standard springs.
