i have an 'E' reg MkII polo estate and when i turn on the heaters even when the engines warm i get cold air, it's only untill i start moving or rev the engine that the hot air comes out,
just want to get this sorted asap as i wanna be warm for winter
they only blow cold through the heaters! the only place they blow through warm is on the screen and those little vents above the other vents! my advise, get the car warm and put ur screen heat onto full! that may help
i ain't got a clue then! could be the system wants bleeding, or the heater matrix is parcially bloked! could be many things really! check ur water levels and all parts to do with water circulation around the engine! some aftermarket parts don't work properly
hope thats some help
well its a simple prob ,you can solve.
under the hood beside's the battery is plastic cover ,black in colour .remove the plastic cover ,you see there the heater fan .(if you stand in front f the car )on the left side on top of the heater is a white valve ,when the engine is running and the temp is standing on the middle of the gauge .unscrewe the white valve till it's hissing (softly)when water apears close the valve .youre heater should be working now
just like bleeding brakes really! i think that was one of the options i gave him in the first place! lets hope he remembers too look back at this! cheers mate
