is this a goodun?

Post by prawny »

looking at a Polo at the mo, its a 1.4i S, W 2000 4dr, 61k, pas r/cl, e/w paint is very good condition non met grassy green or 7up colour. it has a black canvas interior,
full service history, £2500 which looks great compared to Auto trader prices.
Does this sound good?
very similar to this which is on for £3450 and only a 1.0 E

It will probably be the 75bhp model.
I paid £2400 for mine which is a 1.4S 75bhp Xreg with 40k on the clock.

So £2500 is good id say. See if you cant knock it down a bit!!

Its def not the 100 bhp model so its either the 60 as stated above or the 75. As for the price, its quite high for the mileage. If you are still goin to look at her, make sure you check if the gearbox has been changed before and also if the pedal box has been changed too. These both tend to go and cost big money to get fixed if not under warrenty ;)

Well you'll know the difference between the 60bhp model and the 75bhp model cos one is an 8v and one is 16v

I think that is a great price like :D

that would be the 1.0e model iirc, all 1.4 upwards come with colour coded grill handles and bumpstrips, all the 1.0's come with black <<<

and i thought the 1.0e was 50bhp not 60bhp? or is someone talking about another model? :?
