Help with rear wiper

Hey guys, I'm trying to remove the wiper arm to fit my new Mk6/7 wiper arm. I'm having trouble getting it off the gold threaded part, it seems like it's glued on. Any pointers?

Lift the wiper arm up (as you do if you are cleaning the car) then try again

If it still doesn't come off, pull harder

Yeah, what Si said. I thought mine was stuck or something. After a little jiggle it came clean off
