Hi im kinda new on this, lookin at gettin some wheels, wounderin if 8's with a et of 18 stick out much on the back. or will i need my arches pulled.

Depends what you mean by sticking out and also how low you want to go.
I reckon 8j with 195/45 will be ok and legal.
See for yourself, 15x8j et20 on the back, tyres have a bit of stretch, when lowered the tread should be inside the arch. So et18 will stick out by another 2mm which is ok.

Now 15x9j with et7 is a completely different story

they look wicked if only they were legal!

I have 195/45 front and 214/40 rear at the moment. I might try to stretch some 195/45 on the rear and see if they will do the trick. Otherwise just rebuild the rears with only 2,5" lips.
