Lock/Barrel/Key?!

Post by nikz »

Hey guys, was enjoying the weather, thinking of getting some food etc etc, walk to my car...the key gets stuck in the lock!! When i did manage to get the key out, the only way i can lock the drivers side door, is from inside! The key wont actually turn left at all, and when i do stick it in, it just gets stuck! Anyone had this problem? Was thinking of just taking out the door card n having a look, although i dont think ill have a clue! :(

Sounds like the prob i,ve had mate , what happens is a piece of the lock snaps, u can take the handle and lock off by opening the door and removing the torx bolt at the side of the handle near the door catch.
epair kits are available on ebay its quite a common fault.
