How low should i go?

You would hear it - its like a screeth. You would hear it trust me LOL

But, when mine was as low as the d600 thats what happened after a week of running about. Ive asked on here - no one else seems to ever have had the same problem with the driver driveshaft LOL

Did i have you worried there LOL

get the 60/40 kit from phil j on club polo you wont regret it, mine is 60/60 with a gti splitter and leon cupra r splitter on and im fine with speedbumps and there lots round me!!!!! and im running 195/40/16 tyres stretched on so its probably same size as your wheels and tyres diameter wise!!

Thinking of the half cage this week, see how it looks.

Neways on with the lowness... ive had two polos:

First Polo:
First: Gmax 30mm
Second: Ebaitch 50mm

GTI:
Third: Coilovers

IF i had the choice i would go back to the start and buy coilovers first , there better quality, heigh adjust, and are soo much more better. You'll buy springs, then want it lower - trust me.

People think because you have coilovers that you have to lower it 80MM - well no you can lower it 10MM if thats all you want.

Think people forget that.

I'd say 50mm if you want to stay practical.

I'm 60-70mm and have caught my splitter a few times (cracked it the first when I pulled into a space and hit the curb, got that fixed then couple of weeks back I pulled into a junction that's on a slight incline to the road I pulled in from, and caught it on the road cracking the bottom of it)

I also hit the plastic arch lining quite a bit.

So 50mm imo would be fine for still allowing you to take speed bumps ok

Â£40 would be my lowest really. They give a nice ride, possibly better than standard, with less body roll.
