it is placed where your "replacing" wheel is (sorry but i don't know how to say in english, the wheel placed under the carpet on the boot of your car..) !!

you need that thing if you've to move your car by attaching it into the rear of another car...!!

i hope you can understand me, it is in moments like these that i realize my english is not so good..!!

Ah rite, it must have come off the car jack assembly at some point. Oh it's called a spare wheel by the way

its part of the tool kit, as the guy above mentioned.

if you look on your front bumper on teh left hand side there is like a square cover.

use the red bit to pop the cover off then it screws into the bumper under that cover and its the towing eye.
