do u think i should swap my car or sell it?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :RTQ:UK:11

i was thinking of seeing if hed swap this car for mine. in a way i find it dodgy abotu his feedback but then when u read his reply it makes sense. anyone know anything about this guy or if u think i should see about swapping? my car is a vw 2000 5 door 1 litre polo with the following mods:

15" alloys
lowered 30mm all round just springs
debadged grill at front
after market splitter (dee-vub's old one)
LED rear lights
k&n 57i induction kit
stainless steel back box
speaking alarm
boot popper wired up. just needs smoothing of handle.
pioneer head unit
pioneer front door speakers
pioneer 6x9's at back
pioneer amp which id probably take out
infinity sub (i have a pioneer one i got but aint put it in yet and wont if i sell it.

i believe thats everything. my car has no service history i brought it from a vw garage about 3 and a half years ago. in december 06 january 07 i had the engine rebuilt new clutch gearbox rebuilt and a new battery. i have both keys for the car and both fobs for the alarm. it has about 58000 miles on it. not sure about n e thing else.

i was thinkign of selling my car in the near future anyway as i got another years no claims in january. i like my car but want something more sporty and faster. u think i should see if he will?

if not n e one here might be interested if i sell it? im tryiing to push my luck and get around £2800 - £3500 i know i wont tho.

Do you seriously like that car?

It is simply a babe magnet ??

If you like that sort of car, than fair play. But if it was me, I'd bid on it and then sell every single thing he has installed in it for spares.

Also I don't see Phil's aftermarket splitter on that car anywhere.

I did think that, but then I'd be unsure on buying something of someone who uses English like "askz" and "overseaz".....

no i think u read it wrong, i put the splitter on the list of stuff on my car not his.

i was thinking of his name it seems odd. i like it cause it has a bigger engine and modified but i dont like it cause as it wasnt my car i know nothing about how its been treated etc unlike my car as i brought it from a garage so i know wats happened to it since ive had it.

I would take most of the modifications off your car, and put it back to standard. Basically, people don't really want to buy modified cars, you'll get more for a standard car, and then you'll make more money by selling the modifications. That's what I'm going to do to mine when the time comes.

Another reason not to buy that POS, is that it's still a 1.4 in the logbook. It's illegal and it's not worth the effort.

You can get a nice Corrado 1.8 16v for about a grand, and it'll be much faster than your current car.

nope, I wouldn't buy it.

on another note, how come you had to have an engine rebuild and gearbox rebuild at 58k?!

it wasnt at 50k it was about 53k i think. my engine was making a dodgy noise when it started and was driving and i took it to my cousin and he said the clutch was going so hopefully that was the problem but it wasnt. it did sound a bit better but not totally so he said bring it back to us and we'll try to sort it. he ended up having it for abotu a month in the end and he rebuilt the engine and gear box........ i think he did the gear box n e way cant remember. but as it was my cousin it didnt cost me half as much as it would of at another garage and he was working on my car round the other cars he was doing.

but i doubt i will see it as i have just debadged the back of my car and think it looks sweet now.

can anyone tell me where i can download the software to upload pics onto this site or can someone do it for me so i can show everyone wat my car looks like so far........ maybe tomorrow i'll start ont he rear bump strips...... anyone know how to dewiper the back window to? im thinking of doing this.

No software needed mate, just sign yourself up to www.photobucket.com and upload them on there.

Then paste the link which will be under each pic :D

I voted swap before i looked at the car you want to swap it for.

only reason i said swap was because i am not keen on what you have done to your polo (no offence)

keep the polo. The ibiza is a waste of space not worth it atall.

Swap it. Once you've got it, take all the nasty bits off, sell them to some chav and spend the money you make on putting the cupra back how it should be!!!

SAVE THE CUPRA!!
