wheel noise

i just put ma new rims on ma polo and took it 4 a spin but i could hear a slight noise from the rear drivers side wheel so wen bak home, jacked it up, spun the wheel slowly and it sounded like something was catching in the drum like a spring but when i took off the wheel and spun the drum there was no noise so does any 1 kno wa da prob is

wheel bearing?
if the noise is kinda droning i'd think it was a bearing..
if its not droning perhaps knocking from too big wheels/suspension wear?

Your bolts... probably the locking ones are too long, same thing happened to me when I replaced my VW alloys for after market ones.

I had to file the locking bolts down a few mm.
