195/50/15 tyres?

Post by CraigMK4 »

I know the recommended tyre size for 15's is 195/45/15 but will 195/50/15s be ok? I just want to make sure it won't affect my speedo reading + i'll be down -40mm so i dont want any rubbing!

yeah rtecs the place lol. If i was in the car on my own it wouldnt rub much but EVERY bump or pot hole wld give a nasty scrape, one person in the back meant it scraped a lot, and two people in the back meant i couldnt get up the road! I know theres so much complications and s**t with lowering, i researched it loads and had so many questions before i did it. I wrote a FULL ON lowering guide on here but then IE died when i clicked SUBMIT and i cldnt be bothered to rewrite it all.

Ah thats no good :( i know theres a bit about lowering on here but what it needs is a full on guide made sticky or something, save everyone asking the same question when the beautiful day comes :P

Good man! Make sure you write a good few chapters on 195/50/15's and the art of lowering on philj kits :D
