Raising fuel pressure on the 8 valve

Hi, How do you go about increasing the fuel pressure on the 8 valve 1.4L AEX engine?

Does it make any diffrence at all without other modds? do i need to change the camshaft? And what are the possitves and negatives of doing it.

guessing it will incrase power a little. but also guessing it will damage your enginee. if you think about it your forcing fuel down the pipe faster, applying more pressure and so on. speshly if the pipes are old. doesnt sound lyk a good idea to me. interesting question though, cus if it works ill give it ago haha

Yea, Well i know its possible to do and when people fit bigger valves, and uprated camshaft, its common for them to increase the fuel pressure a bit. But i want to play arround to be honnest, i cant afford a camshaft yet so i wanna try to increase a little and see what happens

He has great deal of knowledge on Mk4 tuning, so I think he may well be able to give you some good advice.
