Going to lower the polo

Post by TDI_Burd »

Hi Guys

Decided its time to do some subtle mods to the polo.

So im going to order 50mm lowering springs and order my new wheels as well what i was wantin to know is will my original shocks be ok with the 50mm drop? Heard if u drop it anymore than that then u need to replace the shocks?

Claire

Thanks in advance

Hi claire, i had 50mm on my first polo with original shocks and trust me i wouldn`t recommend it, bloody thing bounced all over the place and ride was choppy as hell  i`ve got 30mm eibachs on now and highly recommend them on original shocks, comfortable and sits at a nice height, if you want 50mm or more i`d go for coilovers if affordable, cheers
