Old handles worn on both sides:

Replaced with fresh new ones:

3 of my roof rack clips looked like this:

Trip to the bodyshop sorted that:

Cracks under lights looked bad:

Not 100% amazing but a definite improvement:

Boot handle all crap and corroded:

All better again:

Finally my accident with the sill:

Is now just a memory, along with the scuff marks! (they did a perfect job here):

Did you spray your boot lock barrel reflex silver there or is it just the light? Otherwise all good mate, nice job!

How did you take the handles off? I didn't even realise you could take the outer ones off.

@ Si: He sprayed the lock too. Offered to scrape it off but I said to leave it, I'll try be careful with it!

@ Phil: Not sure if I'm gonna have much time next week, ask someone else first :P I'll try if your really desperate

@ Tim: It was around £350 including VAT for all the work. What wasn't shown in the pics was my misaligned wing. He didn't manage to get it perfect though as he would of had to taken the whole thing off

£350 inc VAT for all that lot including fixing a wing. He said the sill alone was at least £100 worth of work

First major update of the year. Got some goodies that will all be fitted within the next months time:

My bargain £75 LUK clutch brand new:
Image

Nothing exciting - new fuel filter and spark plugs:
Image

What I'm all excited about. My Black Diamond 280mm combo front discs and predator pads. Just need some carriers and I'll no longer have the worst brakes in the world:

Car has it's MOT at the end of the month so wish me luck. Just hope my noisy exhaust can last another few months until I replace it!

Got my brake upgrade done today

Crappy 256mm discs:

280mm Black Diamond Combi bad boys on with Predator pads:

Excuse the mismatch in colour between the carriers and calipers. I have G60 calipers to be fitted by the garage when it goes in for it's MOT (we didn't have the tools to disconnect the weird connector thing on the brake hose)

Behind the wheel shots:

Here is one of my old pads from the drivers side. The pad had actually sheared off from its attachment. This may be one explanation for the dodgy noises the brakes were making:
Image

However there was no uneven wear on the disc. The same couldn't be said for the passenger side one. Maybe not 100% obvious in the picture but there was a lot of uneven wear on this one:

Gave them a test run and they don't feel to much different. Hopefully they will begin to improve once they have bedded in. They certainly look a lot better anyway 8-)
