Took me ages gettin my car down from here. Had to reverse it down and over the grass. The thing that annoys me is that its only 60mm. Id h8 to see all you guys with more
lol it will be soon - im sorting out a collection of snaps, to do a progress thread on it. The car needs a good clean before I can take some snaps - front has collected a fine collection of flies and other UFOs haha!
my bodged way of dealing with this is i never got around to actually sticking in my splitter its just slotted on, but when i run into troulbe like this i just give it a yank and its clear lol
You just have to grin and bear it really, when you're scraping or rubbing; it's the price you pay to have a lowered car. Anyway; that's what the splitter is for; mine has gashes and battle scars all over it.
I knw its all the fun in it but dam its frustrating somtimes......esp when ur looking to go out in a rush Might have to get me a block of wood for future references. Any pics?
Craig I have that problem every single day cos I park in a multistorey... my splitter is gashed to hell underneath and I'll be damned if im replacing it for use on Irish roads!!
Naw... but if i go down the ramps too fast the splitter ALWAYS catches and pulls out about half way, so im stuck there like a t**t trying to push the thing back in after ive parked it! Thank god for that splitter. The bottom of the bumper would be a state without it!!
