gearbox oil leak

hi, my gearbox is leaking how easy is it to sort? is there a gasket in there or just metal to metal?

its leaking from the bottom

[edit] just smelt the oil and it smells like dot oil and is see-through, smells rather like my brake fluid, which is worrying cos i just changed discs and pads on the front, any ideas??

polos dont have hydraulic clutches do they? does powersteering fluid sound a likely culprit?

Just dismantled gearbox,
End cap may leak, this has a rubber gasket.
The split between Box and Bell house is metal to metal.

All you can do is clean it, drive or run it, and check for leaks to find the exact source
