Dont suppose anybody else was in the tailback on the A12 towards ipswich/clacton on friday? if you werre youll be happy, well knowledged, to know that my polo was at the front of the cue. But the back of the pie up.

Just when i thought i had everything sorted, just when it all seemed to good to be true. It fuckign was.

Sorry to hear that mate, I know what it feels like but I love Polo's so I just got another
oh i cant get another. i need my damn polo. i will fight for my open air as long as i can.
Costs are 500 quid at the moment and rising.
Get this, D&G want 195 for toeing five miles to their breakdown center thing. WTF kind of extortion is that!
Just got off the phone with the insurer and the cars still mine! Cause im third party fire they dont have claim over my motor, all damage is my responsibility and im determined to see her live again. Finally some good fooking news.
All it needs is a wing(which i have), bumper(which i also have), wishbone, driveshaft and possibly breaks though im not sure on that. It was dark couldnt get a good enough look. Probably a tyre aswell.
Well naturally i was a bit drunk last night so ill post the full story up. I may have been at the back but im buggered if it was my fault.
There was an accident on the A12 earlier that day and though it had cleared up theyre were pockets off traffic that still slowed to a hault. We had slowed to a hault and were picking up speed again. We were on the right hand lane heading north to clacton. For some reason up ahead somebody slammed on the bloody breaks causing the three cars in front of me, all mates or mates of mates, to do the same. ABS meant they stopped nicely with only about an inch between them they told me. Unfortunately for muggins here abs wasnt invented yet or whatever lol.
I applied the breaks slowly to avoid locking up but then i realised it wasnt gonna happen. I pushed more forcefully in panic and they did indeed lock up. I was skidding right into the back off him, so i through the car into the tiny gap between my mates mates corsa in front and the barrier to the right. I didnt make it in time. I smashed into his back right with my front left and ruined his rear. The polo, came out much stronger lol.
Shouldnt laugh about that really but if i done that much damage there what the hell wouldve happened if it was a flat impact??
his back bumper and rear quarter was ruined, the axle snapped and the wheel was hanging off. My front panel was a wreck. Pushed right into the tire. The wishbone is twisted beyond belief and i think the driveshaft was buckled.
Some of my mates stopped the traffic in order to move the corsa over and he dragged it on three wheels with the handbreak stuck on over the other side of the road. I couldnt move my car as the arch had the wheel pinned. I could only turn right when i needed to go left. So i had to wait for the police to come and drag me over. Which they did. then D&G later picked me up. I got into my mates car and went to clacton and got drunk for two nights. I had already paid for it all so i ight aswell turn a bad thing into a good one. In the end we were joking about it. Though the dude in the corsa didnt come.
oh yeh and i forgot the corsa shot forward and hit my mates brand newly bought mk1 clio (170bhp 16v 1800 engine, rapid!) ruined the boot a bit but nothing that a lick of paint and a new boot wont fix. Maybe a bit of bending. Either way its doable and fairly asy at that.
im just so happy the polo will remain mine.
