NEW POLO GTI 1.8T SOOONNN NEEEDS MODS ANY SUGGESTIONS???

hi there new to the forum and will be getting a new polo gti in the nex few months and jus wondering what sort of upgrades (PERFORMANCE WISE AND LOOKS WISE) i should be looking at. if you could put any sites, pics, and prices down that would be much appreciated.

Hi. Welcome to the forum.

There aren't many tuning options in terms of hardware upgardes available. Milltek turbo back exhaust system, panel filter and Seat PD160 air intake are recommended.

Also remap wise APR remaps seem popular and of those I've tested, the one to go for. Map on its own should see 200bhp (modest estimate).

well i have the apr remap, turbo back milltek with high flow cat, green filter and pd 160 intake and the forge 007p and its now sporting 220 ps ( or 214 bhp if you rather)

looks wise iv gone for original and stealth i have added the rear chrome boot strip, colour coded the bottoms of the bumpers and skirts, gloss b pillars, enfig aerial, tinted plates and will be getting the front vw badge done black

as for chassis, i want to be able to make good use of the newly found 70 hp so i chose eibach pro street s coilovers with poly bushes all round, eibach front arb, jabbasport rear arb, forge motorsport front and rear upper strut braces

im looking in to brake conversions next, weather it be just uprated disks and pads, the audi tt 312 mm conversion or brembo's

Depends what u are lookin for? Style or preformance? I went for preformance and got the APR Remap, K&N Filter and PD160 Intake! Lovin every minute of it!

hi thanks for all the comments and im in south london.

i was looking at the stage 2 re-map by APR but awsome gti say you need other part for it. is that worth getting and what would the power be boosted up to with the stage 2 on there?

styling wise as i would be getting a black gti i was going for the knight rider look you know nice tints done by vampier tints, black 17" rims i think 18z would be pushing it abit, also getting the milltek system, with the cat. heres a list i whiped up quickly to giv you an idea of what i should be getting:
