Asia's getting close. It is supposed to have a "semi-tropical" climate (well this bit of the continent is supposed to)...

Semi tropical is just a flash way of sayin' "malaria ridden" climate. Also that could mean lots of rain and a very humid and sticky climate.
I'll take a vowel please Deek. Singapore?

You'd fly through Singapore or Hong Kong to get there...
The climate worries me a little about it. This city is supposed to have a really bad "fire ant" problem. So bad that it's affecting property values...
VW do have a presence in that market and we might even have a 9n owner on this board from there...

I think Daves got it. It must be Oz or Tazmania as I have heard that Tasmania has a huge fire ant problem. Not to be putting you off mate but they hurt big time
Whats the job anyways, cant it be done from home?

Yeah, Oz it is - Brisbane.
It's doing research - it would an employer-sponsored thing - the idea being that there's no one already in Oz who would be capable of doing it!
Just not sure if I should go...

Go for it mate, remember thats the country that invented Kylie along with many other mad sports and crazy excentrics. Look at it this way, your Christmas party will be spent on a sandy beach with ladies in a bikini serving you cocktails while you watch beach volley competitions worrying about wether you should have a dip in the nice warm ocean or just watch the lovely ladies do the swiming for you
I wanna do research!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
