Help with mounting on EARTH cable in mk5 6n2 polo

Hi guys ive installed my subs/amps and they constantly give bass when h/u turned on and give even more bass when i accelarate, break etc.. i know its my earthing coz its s**t! I cant seem to find a suitable place to mount the earth cable! Any help appreciated.. thanks

Earth it to the spare wheel well - theres a few holes closest to the lock part of the boot.

Ensure you sand the paint down to metal first otherwise the contact will be awful!

Thanks buddy, so will i be able to bolt the earth down as theres already holes in there?

Installing a Ground wire kit will solve that problem:

Thanks for that kristof_clg but i need an earthing spot in my boot for my audio amplifier! lol.... Everyones suggested that i get drilling but thats not happening... Alex im going to try your method tommorow morning, what grade of sand paper will i need?

Something nice and rough thall take it to bare metal ;) A smear of vaseline ove the top after its all done is a good idea :)

LOL still havent sorted it, been busy... lol.... whats the vaseline for? stop rusting?

I earth'd mine using the earth point on the rear lights !
