Gearbox Polo 1998 "R" Reg Diesel.(five door)

Hello All,
I wonder if you could kindly assist me to locate the type of bgearbox that I need to replace the faulty one presently in my Polo.
As you can see it is a 1900 diesel model, are these the only gearbox that will fit or do Passat and /or Golf boxes fit too?
I'm struggleing to find the correct gearbox, does anyone know if there is a chart showing the relevant gearboxes etc.
If someone has a gearbox that would be even better?
I'm not mechanicaly minded so I have to rely on a friend to remove/install box.

Go to your boot, open it, then aim to stick your head between your legs and there should be a sticker ther. Alternatively there may be a identical sticker in your log/ service book (can't remember which one). The are a list of letters on these stickers on mine (1.9 diesel) the first was AEF if I remember correctly and the second one (DXF I think on mine) is your gearbox code. As for which models will fit into the car Im not sure.
