can you take mk4 handles apart to be resprayed?

is it possible for me to remove the pin so that i can get the handles resprayed

or i could drill it out but what would you recommend i use to put it back together?

any help would be much appreciated :D

Hi Simon, and welcome!

You can leave the handles as they are, no disassembly needed. Did mine this way, not a problem at all.

Didn't spray 'em myself TBH, but still - should be fine without taking them apart.

i sprayed mine and tigors without removing the pin and there fine however the spring loop that makes it return to a closed position can be disengaged

one other thing, how much do you reckon theyll be to be resprayed?

I got robbed a while back and paid something like 30 UKP for both. They were done immaculately though... Maybe less. Can't really remember tbh. I wish I had a proper memory.

thanks for that, im gonna get a few quotes so will see what they say atleast i know roughly how much theyll be :D
