1.4 tdi BMC fitting

Post by Tdi_Terry »

As in the title really, im looking to see if anyone has done this as the airbox is basically in the drivers side lower front of the bumper, behind the fog light, i was thinking of putting a bmc and running the air feed behind the mesh next to fog light?

Does anyone know if its better i just get a panel filter (as its a remapped Tdi) or go all out and fit a bmc?

Anyone done it at all, any info greatly appreciated

Cheers

Best to go to the passenger side - forced feed then through the gap in the grille :D

Ive got a BMC in mine and its fantastic - makes a rumble in the jungle and adds a few bhp here and there. I can get some pics of the air feed path if you wish.

imo BMC and a remap - gives it that little bit more, but you could just do a panel filter with a very good airfeed instead!

Mines just a 1.0 unfortunately, but it makes a noticeable difference.

Ill upload my pics tonight :)
