definately but make your mind up first about the lights. I'v got black LEDs which'l look great on your car but red mk5 lights look just as good and keep OEM look. I'v got a badgeless grille laying about but I don't know if I should keep that or the Jacky Autosport grille which currently is on the car. Once I make my mind up, one's for sale!

If you keep changing your mind your left with parts you got for no reason. I'v got a 40mm suspension kit and a universal induction kit for sale at the mo.

don't think I have any daytime pics. The night pics in the slideshow show you what they look like at night. Bright as hell and really gorgeous.

Put up a thread to see peoples black mk4 or 5 with mk5 red rears. Then you can compare. I reckon the mk5 reds look better on a black one but mines green, don't suit

I thought they'e plug and play but mine had messed up wiring. Also needed two wires to go through the boot for the extra reverse and fog light. Originals have one each, these have it on both side. I spent £60 for an electrician to properly wire them up. The light itself though does just slot in and put the wiring plug into the unit. They might leave a gap between the bodywork and the unit as its an aftermarket part and they don't always fit seemlesly

They were advertised plug and play. The right one I managed to get the right wires with the right lights but not the lfet one. Also you'll have to do extra wiring for the extra reverse and fog lights anyway. Obviously it depends on the light you get though, you may get one which doesn't have an extra reverse/fog. easiest choice is mk5 red rears. Just need to sand away estra material so the light sits flush with the body.

YOu guys have some wicked rims!! I just installed angel-eyes on my car. Man I paid flippin £70 to get them installed. That's £220 in total just for the headlights :( THis dubbing business is a tad expensive. The lights look awesome though! Next stop: exhausts :D Where should I start? Sorry for hijacking the thread btw

Fanx mate, photo doesn't do my rims justice cos in the flesh everyone just gawps  cos they're different and one of 4 sets I know of.

Anyway, Aftermarket lights are always advertised plug&play but you find there's always something wrong with the wiring so you gotta get an electrician or someone.

With exhausts never get something thats too big or wierd looking for a polo. I'v still got a Rage backbox i'm trying to sell for £45. Only selling cos I want something different and it used to sit under my old polo.

When I have enough cash (like next year, financial crisis!) still have to do manifold, de-cat and backbox. Hopefully i'll gain a few horses and a sweet tone

well my local car garages don't do electrics. Not where they have to figure out what wire lights up what etc so I just took it to acar electrician who does all kinds of stuff.

Big rims on small cars just don't cut it; thats the Max Power days of trying to get the biggest rims on your car. Learn't the errors of my ways through the forums so I don't think my cars nice while everyone else is laughing at me :P

So easy to make your car look cack but is sooo difficult to make it look classy; there's a big difference between the two
