9J on Polo?!

Hi!
I'm going for a german, powerful look and I'm planning to buy Keskin KT4 black polished 17" rims and their width is 7,5J, 8J and 9J!
Now I have 8Jx17" on my polo, and I'd like to put 9J with 215/40 tyre on rear axle-at the front would stay 8J on 205/40 tyre!should I stay on 8J or go for 9J at the rear?! coilovers are coming 2

'J' has absolutely nothing to do wtih the width of the wheel

It is the bead profile.........

what's the offset on the 9s?

if the offset if more than 30, then 9 might just make it.
