Newbie wantin help with wheels!

Post by 3LL1077 »

I'll keep it simple.

All i want is a nice set of CHEAP alloys for my polo mk5 2 door 1.4 16v

i dont mind if they are old, i would like the idea of refurbing them and powder coating them white or black.

Any suggestions or ebay links or if you know of anyone selling any!

Once again they have to be really cheap! im 19 in a few weeks and funds arent at their highest lol

thanks guys

I've had an idea.

I was talkin to a friend of mine in the local car club im a member of, and we talked about gettin my wheels powder coated.

Wud this be cheaper than buyin new wheels and possibly refurbing them etc?

Im not lookin for exact numbers, just in geral u know.

The car will be lowered 40mm in a few weeks, so im not bothered bout havin huge wheels atm. i can wait till next year for that.

Thanks for your help guys

The headlights are the OEM Gti ones, I really dont know how much they cost to purchase, i'm guessing quite a bit though, ask in the GTi section or start a new thread about them someone will surely know..

No no no i mean the rear lights. Ive seen crystal lights for 6n polos and wondered if they were too?

If not is it possible to fit those lights to my 6n2 without much trouble ?

You will see a pic i done of my car on photoshop, this is exactly what i want mine to look like, lowered on coilovers, gunmetal wheels, black angel eyes and smoked side repeaters.

Thanks guys!

That doesnt include bulbs or the ballast either - like 380 for a single light with all the bits!!!
