That sucks! If that happened to me i'd be mega pissed. I think halloween is just an excuse for older kids to f**k about sometimes

I had to go pick up ma lil bro from somewhere, and the amount of older kids runnin about just sent a shiver down my spine. I made sure i parked my car like a metre away from me and kept ma eyes on it most of the time i was waiting. Although at home it wasn't bad at all, had literally one kid come along trick or treating.

Mate that really sucks

Never happened to me, but I am always paranoid looking out the window this time of year.

We have a sign on the window saying no trick or treaters so we don't really get any, but it always worries me when you a bunch of hoodies around scrounging for money, as you never know what they'll.

I see it as an American holiday anyway, they go overboard with it over there, whereas here you get a few little kids doing it (which to be honest I don't mind) and a load of chavs that'll do anything to your house or car

I've never been out doing it, as I just see it as begging! Maybe I'm just old and boring

The worst that happened to us was some silly string on the driveway, even though we were ignoring the constantly-ringing doorbell (I think we ruined many kids Halloween's last night, but meh).

One of the blokes at work went egging helpless people (he's 21, ffs ). Halloween is just an excuse to f*ck around with people and their posessions, and I'm sure that it harks back to devil worshipping or paganism (or even both). I was keeping a beady eye on the scirocco last night, but all was well, even my new daily driver Micra round the corner.

Ahhh, thats harsh about your car :x
I think it's ok for the little kids to get dressed up but last night 3 girls turned up that looked about 18!!
They'd made some lame effort at just dressing in black...I was waiting for a little kid to emerge from behind them but no, they were just there alone for the haribo's!! Sad cases.
A house a few doors up got seriously egg'd and the elderly couple were out there all this morning trying to clean it off.
At risk of sounding 'old before my time' ...i'm sure it didn't happen like that in my neighbourhood when I was a kid?! :?

Ah but other parts of Belxeyheath aren't so nice and chavs travel far and wide to Bexleyheath I've noticed!!

Exactly the reason why I didn't go out and get fuel for my car last night bunch of little buggers round here.

On a seperate note I saw you last week Josh near hall place :)

Grrrr Meh. That really sucks. Like really :(

When I was a a kid....lol, you used to only go to houses where you knew people! When I got a lil older and opened the door I'd be like...who are you?? And they're never satisfied either! i just stayed working late this time so missed it all, although my brother was put off getting Chinese.....'....hmmm....nah its not worth the getting egged on the way home risk....'

Although admittedly when i was a teen i did used to go out and dodge the eggs armed with water bombs, I only ever got the other kids!

And at uni it was a laugh, getting dressed up to go out.

I prefer it the Spanish style though....'night of the dead' we went up to 'el monte' where the dead people come out, got read a legendary ghost story surrounded by bonfire and pumpkins (organically green) in the rocks, then all the guys flattened the ashes, made a path, and walked over it bare foot, and then did it giving their girlfriends/wives/kids piggy backs!

Thats harsh about the eldery peoples house,, honestly, what is happening to the youth of today? no seriously!! lol

As for Lum, she has a new car parking space, nearer to the house :D yay! nabbed it when the neighbours moved out :D it is now officially claimed. I have my crow bar at the ready. hehe!

I took my kids trick or treating.

Where I live if you have visible halloween decorations/pumpkins on your doorstep it is a sign that you are happy to accept trick or treaters, and therefore you only call on those houses. We only called on about 10 or so houses, half of which we knew the occupants anyway.

We didn't see anyone older than about 12 trick or treating, and no-one called at ours older than that either. If they had been 16+, I would have kindly asked them to move on.

 I contemplated it but at the same time I hadn't seen any signs of you on here. I only happened to recognise (and not in a bad way I appreciate it's work in progress) the primered body parts in your sig and linked it to you by hall place.

I thought sods law the only time I wave at someone or give acknowledgment they wont be on the forum and they'll think I'm some sort of nutter.

Scoundrals

I'm a shopping delivery driver in evenings and what happens halloween night? some kids come over when I get out the van and shout 'trick or treat?' looked like a bunch of mini chavs up for some mayhem so what happens? Twats start chucking eggs at my van and me :x Got hit with one and couldn't do anything seeing they legged it.

I got soo pissed off I went in the back to find 18 eggs in one of my customers shopping and continued to do my deliveries. 30mins later I spot them again so as I drove past I chucked the whole lot at their general direction. To my shear amazement, I managed to egg one in the face, three on the back and missed the rest  I shouldn'v done that but they were some retarded chavs snotty lil teenagers upto no good so I thought i'd return the trick or treat :D
