Mobile Speed Cameras

Post by jamesc »

So,

from how far away can they catch you? (the van type)

Would they be able to "see" over a hill?

My old man got caught from 200m away, as for seeing over a hill - could you see it? If so then it could probably see you.

I couldn't see it, but as soon as I could I went from "average outside lane of a british motorway" speed to below the speed limit (50mph dual carriage way) so hopefully nothing will have happened. It was probably 200-300 metres away when I saw it and braked

the newer cameras dont flash anymore. I got caught doing 39 in a 30 in bristol. And instead of a fine and 3 points i had the option of paying £60 for tuition fees in a 3 hour speed school session!!

I now know everything there is to know about UKs speed laws and cameras!! haha
