Welcome fella,

Just make sure you don't modify that polo the way you did with the corsa! Even looks like you done the roof in on that.

Thats a good start although i'd advice against eyebrow. Thats a way of saying you want the badboy bonnet look but can't afford the work so getting accessories to make it look like that.

No no's are; eyebrows, washer LEDs, chrome wiper guards, Lexarse lights, shopping list graphics, crap sunstrip, ugly bodykits etc etc. Its hard to get your car right but VERY easy to mess it up.

I don't like those myself, and 99% of the people on here will think the same.

You'll soon notice that most people here (me included) here with a Mk5 have done the same mods: gti splitter, mesh etc. So do what you want, it's your car

most companies that supply accessories for polos can't seem to get their facts straight! to anyone in the know (ie- most people on here), your car is a mk5 polo.
technically though it is just a facelift of the mk4 polo even though 75% of the parts were new or improved.

mk4=6n
mk5=6n2

confused yet? you will be lol but luckily there are lots of knowledgeable people around this place to help ya on your journey through poloism!

oh and welcome to UK-Polos mate! :D

Wow, you did a proper job in breaking that Corsa....

And like said previously, your's is what is known as mk5.

It's a facelift of the mk4, which, if you're going to be exact, should really be a mk3, because what we call a mk3 is just a facelift of the mk2. Confused yet? :lol:

That annoys me.
Makes me think that polo's arn't for me anymore cause everyones making them look the same.

Its ones that dare to be different that stand out.

Im sick of every polo i see having the same mods. i guess im not one to talk i just never have the money to do much to mine saving for a new motor.

Im not saying some of the things mentioned as Nono'2 arnt taste dilema's but each has there own opinion.

and different mods work with different cars.

We'd all do it differently if it were ours and our budgets were endless.

my 2p :)
