Recommended Window Tinters.....

Hi all,

Well after coming back off holiday and seeing numerous black cars with tinted windows i think i'm gonna get my rear side & back windows done.

I just wondered if people had any recommendations for tinters in the Sheffield / Yorkshire area.... Though i would be willing to travel upto an hour or so away..... Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester etc.... If you catch me drift.

I wouldnt know anywhere you could get them done cos i'm not from the area. But just thought you'd like to know That it cost me Â£110 for a medium grade the rear sides and back on my 5-door. If i could do it again however i'd get a light tint all around including the sunvisor.

Sorry completely off topic, but is your number plate d9 rsg or something along those lines, have seen a black fabia vrs with a black grill, around sheffield uni quite a few times, thought it might be you? oh and look up CIS in Leicester thats where i got mine done from, and i think they give a 7yr warranty on them. leicester is only an hour away from sheffield

try www.vampiretints.co.uk dont know if theres one near you but there one of the best offering you life time guarentee plus if your window gets broken or needs 2 be replaced, tint gets burt scratched, tint gets damage and for selling purposes the will replace or take the off for free.

Liam is really good and is in Leicester.

[email protected] was the last email address I had for him.

He did my Fabia vRS and it was an awesome job, and cheap too (he used proper Llumar branded tint film too).

In Sheffield, ProTint, run by Courtney is very good, although when I last checked, he was fairly expensive.

I had big big problems with the tint on my Polo GTi that I had done at the car stereo place on St. Mary's Gate... Steer well clear!

No my reg is a private one but starts Y6... Not me guvner. But i do think there's another lad on Briskoda who drives a black vRS with black grille and he travels to Sheffield Uni each day from Leeds i think so it may be him.
