OIL Problem

Hi all

My GTI is using allot of oil, filled it to the maximum on friday before driving up to yorkshire, did about 210 miles over the friday and saturday. Came home last night (saturday), checked oil again before i left and it was below the minimum, so had to use the last litre of oil i had, its more than likely used this now after driving home, will check before go out. The car never leaks any oil on drive etc, dad followed me home most the way last night from yorkshire to leicestershire with no smoke coming from the exhaust. Reckon it must be the oil rings on the pistons.

any one had this sort of problem before?

I had this sort of problem before and I had to get a whole new engine put in my car. Take it to a garage ASAP and make sure they check the oil stem seals, by driving the car you're only making it worse.
