Update on Porsche Cups...

Post by Dub1 »

I picked up my Porsche Cup wheels last night & now i cant wait to try & get them on.... :-o

So bring on the weekend & i will play about with them & see what size adaptors i will need, should be fun

The wheels are 16x7 (et55) & 16x9 (et70)

So the biggest problem will be the rears

I'm debating on the refurb options, i have something in mind but feel free to chuck your ideas at me

As some of my so-called 'mates' would say..."raaated hoe". Major surgery is correct. Can't wait to see your ride scrape off the tarmac lol.

Btw thanks for the angel eyes!!!

right i tried the wheels at weekend....

the fronts arent going a problem at all, getting a 25mm adaptor & they sit nicely under the arch

now the rears are going to possibly cause me a problem, im having to use a 45mm adaptor as the back of the wheel was catching the rear axle. although they may not stick out as much as shown as i tried to guage 45mm best i could

I have posted anything about my wheels for a while now...

Not much progress so far i must admit as i have had my boot & rear bumper resprayed as i they were on the red 8v

But i think i have decided to with 195's on the rear, probably goin to go for 40 profiles aswell

Got a few pictures, but hard to get the rears exactly spaced how i want them as my 45mm adapters are on order from germany

& also thanks to chris_polo_gti (clubpolo) for photoshopping what my wheels would look like on :D
