Bonnet Extension

Post by iggy350 »

Hum I was thinking of getting a bonnet extension to put on the car for a short period of time. Jus to see how I could get the car to look. Then If I liked the "Bad Boy Bonnet" look then I might get it properly done.

What you peeps think? Waste of time or dont go with the "Bad Boy" look at all?

Yea i saw Jarnos hehe Thats why i thought it wud be ok to put one on but i dont wanna look like i cant afford to get a proper welded one to the bonnet.

The bonnet extension i can get is fairly cheap only I have to get it painted but thats no prob. I suppose i could get it fibreglassed on to my bonnet eventually to remove the gap, or just fill it lol

When getting a bad boy bonnet you always have to do it properly, no gash brows or anything lol. Do it properly, get the shape right and your onto a winner.

Then photoshop your idea from one of your pics. Easier then buying tacky brows which you'll think look ugly anyway and having them left over afterwards. Anything you wanna see first is best photoshoppin, just a handy hint. if you don't have the software just supply a pic of your car and ask people here to do it for you. or you can just ask to see other polo's with extensions already done.

If you get a welded one, do yourself a favor and stay around your car when they weld it, mine looked like crap after couple of months because they didn't weld and tinned it properly

Was a hugh wast of my money
