thats about the same price i paid for mine, ask nicely for a discount and say your part of a VW polo club they might just give you 10% off.

i understand what you mean with the false bottom now, cant see why it wouldnt work, However, is access to the spare wheel the same as the GTi im lower models? as in you access it from the boot not from underneath?

correct. just means i might not have a spare wheel unless i make a secret hatch.

ive just had my pedal box changed and its all working mechanically and electricaly but i have a plug that doesnt seem to plug into anywhere, does anyone know if theres a spare plug or if it should be plugged in somewhere?

does anyone know how easy it is to change handles? i was thinking of changing my black handles for silver ones. would it be easier to change then or spray them silver?

also noticed since my pedal box was finished there was a fairly quiet sucking kinda noise. i was thinking it might be the k&n sucking in the air or its loose and air is getting somewhere else. anyone have an idea?

what du mean by spare plug? A spare plug where?

In regards to the handles, your going to have to take them off the paint them anyway!!

I recommend purchasing some 5 door rear handles so they have no locks, unless you dont ahve central locking?

To get them off i think its something to do with the bolts on the outside hinge of the door. I'm sure if you know how to do it it'll take 5 mins to get off

well ive looked in the haynes manual and they make it look easy..... they also said that about changing the pedal box....... that took nearly 3 days. not full days tho.

as for the handles no i dont have central locking so i cant get dehandled ones unless i got central locking built in. i was thinking of just buying the handles and chainging them..... hopefully the barrels will be easy to change.

the plug is under the steering wheel from where it was all unplugged and taken out. it hangs just below the steering wheel. it doesnt seem to be affecting anything tho.....

another question, can u tell me which, if any of these, would fit my car......
