steering me no where

hi all i have a p reg(97) polo, the power steering hose has split not sure which one it is. as you look at the engine its the one on the right which goes under the fan, i think its called "from pump to rack" now the problem i have is finding a replacement hose, stealers want £120.00
i have tried loads of breakers, with no joy, please help, my missus is killing me!

my bro had the same problem he looked up a pipe maker in the yellow pages cost him about 15quid and they made it from rubber so it will last longer

Hi there! I'm a newbie to this forum. Well, my friend had recently experienced the same issue with the steering hose on his car and we're not quite good in troubleshooting things like this. I'm just wondering is there any update on this post and what's the solution for this issue? I'll appreciate any opinions or DIY to fix this.
