Sounds like a plan. Will it stay as it is now?
Or is that a very naive question

sshhh!!!!
I'm planning to go for a more subtle Westside/Cult Society look with this one. with the last thing being a colour change (black) and some chrome detailing (but not too bling!)
Gonna take the Polo for an MOT next week - the results will say if i get this or not. if theres loads needs doing to it i cant afford the Cab
/fingers crossed

I used to want one of those while growinup as a kid but then i learned about the facts of life and deamons such as the legendary Insurance Company, my dreams were ruined. Dont take it for granted your olde enough to be insured for cheap (those of you wiser drivers
)
Karl, mate that is THE car to have, proper original PimpWagen,
definatley get it!

cheers for the compliments.
Theres some Fox 5 15" alloys to go on it (save the OE ones for winter) - bit i was wanting to get some G60 steels and polish/chrome them. so....
- Can you even chrome/polish steels?
- would the G60 rims fit with no arch mods?
- how much do you reckon to chrome em?
a brand new set of G60 steels is only £150, so even if chroming them is £300, its still a considerable saving on a set of pre-chromed alloys

Karl
G60 steels should fit, they are 15x6 ET35.
Chroming shouldn't be a problem, afterall Porsche used to fit chrome steel rims to 356's.
No idea of cost though, cheap chroming isn't worth your time and effort though !.
