To be honest mate, they're getting on a bit now (the newest of the GTi's will be getting on for 7 years old soon) so a lot will be over 60k!

Matt's is a real nice example, I've seen it in the metal and it looks just as good as in the pics 8)

Cheers for posting that link Tom.

Jason has infact been to look at my car but he wasn't prepared to meet my price! :? Never mind though. I'd prefer to sell my car to a Polo enthusiast, but the car is worth every penny and more than what i'm after so am sure it will sell soon! :)

Good luck with your hunt Jason. Am sure you'll find one soon....although it took me 3months when looking for mine!!! haha

If i got sill repaired how would you feel about that??

Obviously though, i'd like to recouperate some of the cost so price would go up a little!

Ok.

When i took the car to VW dealer, the guy told me that it would take approx 5 hours to reshape the sill and get it looking back to how it should do! He also explained that this was the most cost effective way of doing it as if they had to replace the sill for a new one, at least 15hours of work would be needed to cut the old one out and then weld the new one on!!!

PM me with a figure you're willing to pay for the car with the sill professionally fixed by a bodyshop and we'll see if we can sort something out!!! The body shop i'll use were actually working on a new polo GTi and 2 ambulances when i popped in for a quote!!!
