Got my new mk5 Golf gearknob in the post last week, bargain...tenner off ebay :-o

so gave it a bash at fitting it earlier & heres the result, i love it!!!

its just a case of keep searchin ebay mate & see what comes up

it took me about 45minutes to fit, was so fiddly because the leather gaiter is smaller than the surround on the mk4, so had to try & get the bloody thing to fit, but well worth the patience :D

45 mins? Took me about 5, theres a nack to do it you have to like pull it up so it stretches over it then pull it down again, its kind of hard to explain but there is a way. looks cool anyway, its tiny things liek that that can really change a car.

looks good mate! first mk5 golf knob in a mk4 polo perhaps?

seen the mk4 golf knob in the mk4 polo before but never a mk5 knob.

My knob recently just broke off!!! I wouldn't know how the frig to get it off. I think I'll leave it up to the mechanics, I just hope they can get an original one, I don't want some generic crap.

So Mk5 Polo or Golf/ Mk 4 Golf should fit on? Maybe if I give them the heads up, it'll save em some time.
