Bentley rims on VAG motors

Post by aweis_786 »

Heres some VAG cars i've seen with Bentley rims, I think this will catch on but i personally prefer the original Audi S & RS rims and not forgeting deep dish & steelies. So what you lot reckon?

It's going to be another trend. People trying to out-do each other with more and more ostentatious wheels. I think I've seen that MK5 Golf 4/5 times at shows/meets, and I've been fairly unimpressed with the car, it's not my sort of thing really. I can't see how you can have fun driving your car with heavy Bentley wheels on it.

I personally prefer the black Mk5 Golf on Lamborghini Gallardo wheels.

Bentley ones are different at least. The Audi S/RS ones have been done to death with the number of replica versions avaliable.

black and cream golf is for sale at the moment, wants about 19k for it.

interior is nice, don't like the cream at all, but that's just my taste.

how much do you pay for those wheels?

not a fan tbh, personally though i dont see the point in getting rims from other cars, if you have a dub get VW wheels, if you dont want them then get some after market wheels e.g. BBS....the whole "look at me in my lada with merc wheels" doesnt work, its like you are trying to make your car something its not.

Thats my opinion, not after a b***h match...some look alright but its just not to my taste

exactly what i think...

Fair enough, some rims look nice from other manufactures (porsche D90s) but i cant see the logi in bragging about the fact that ther're from a different manufacture

I've never really been impressed with rims for being from a certain manufacturer. If the rims look great, they look great and thats all that matters. I've never been astonished just cos the badge doesn't match the car or being from a particular manufacturer. so if the rims looked ugly but had Bentley badges I still wouldn't be impressed; they're still aestheticly ugly lol
